Hi I am here with a brief introduction about Android.

Android is the most popular mobile platform.It was developed by google after it's chrome operating system(that was used in computers in few days back).Initially the project of Android didn't start by google,it purchased the Android project in 2005.
 
The most interesting thing about Android is development of it's versions.Each Androd version has been developed under a code name based on a dessert item,and they are in alphabetical order.The version history of Android began with the release of Android 1.0 BETA and the other versions are Cupcake,Donut,Eclair,Froyo,Gingerbread,Honeycomb and Icecream sandwich.Honeycomb is the tablet pc operating system and Icecream sandwich is the latest version among the released versions.Jelly is upcoming Android version and yet to be release.The drawbacks of each version are rectified with the new updating versions or the upcoming versions.
 
The pre release versions of Android were dubbed Astro and Bender,but these names could not ultimately be used for trademark reasons.

Android let you to access codes like bar codes and QR codes.QR(Quick Response) codes are special type of codes.They(QR codes) can point to a URL that will suggest you to download an app that if you choose to download it.
 
And finally Android's hardware development is done by many different companies from all over the world with famous brand name such as Motorola,Sony,Samsung,Dell,LG,HTC,Acer etc.,.So with all these extra features the operating system Android bacame the most popular mobile platform.
